On this day, 30 June 1992 Nelson Mandela received an Honorary Doctorate from the Sheikh Anta Diop University, Dakar, Senegal



"Free at last" one can now start focusing on doing what has to be done. Doing what I like to do will make me to be happy, the recruitment drive is on. The board manage to form a quorum yesterday we are now on and back in doing business as usual. Opportunities are there for everyone to grab, if your passion is on community development Project Findafinda Livhaa might be for you. Next week, we will be embarking upon the Recruitment Drive Campaign for Project Coordinators piloting the Joburg South region. Adopt a school project in your area campaign will be one of the first pilot that we will be embarking upon.
In our meeting yesterday we have noted that we need to assist young people on any development projects that might help them in their career development. The challenge will be on getting support from those companies, leaders who might be interested in assisting organisations such as Project Findafinda Livhaa. We are busy engaging with some of the stakeholders in Regents Park on ensuring that young people get access to internet through free Wi-fy in that area, something that will help them in doing research, employment opportunities, developing their skills, and answering to the call of assisting on employment creation in addressing the social ills that is faced by the majority of our fellow brothers and sisters.

We cannot forget the work done by our Father, Dr NR Mandela on his selfless mission of inspiring people around the world, in our contribution for the month of July, we will be visiting Alexandra Female Hostel, Queenshaven, Moffatview, Reuven Old Age Homes doing cleaning, volunteering in door to door visits, reaching out for those elders who need the services of our communities, and assisting with what ever that can be done in the targeted areas. We would like to call upon those business leaders to support in any donations in kind for our elders who are residents in these homes that we will be visiting during the month of July. We also call upon those citizens who would like to be part of this campaign to call Mr Lunga Lunika or Mongezi Mpofu who will be leading us on the pilot project that we have on our desk.
